Picture shows an aerial view of Italy´s Lampedusa island. Some 210 illegal migrants were reported drowned or

disappaeared in the Strait of Sicily in June while attempting to cross from northern Africa to Europe, a UN refugee

agency official said. Thousand of migrants try to enter Italy and other EU nations each year via Lampedusa. The EU is

also worried about the continuing flow of migrants from West Africa to Spain´s Canary Islands.
